Position Purpose and ObjectivesCurrently, we are seeking a Member Relationship Specialist who will assist new and potential members in identifying membership and lending needs and delivering solutions to their financial needs.
Major Duties and Essential Functions- Deliver an unexpected experience by consistently providing outstanding service to internal and external members with every interaction.
- Uncover member needs by asking questions and provide solutions.
- Proactively discuss and refer additional products to internal partners.
- Process requests for memberships, depository accounts, loans, and account maintenance services.
- Regularly follow up with members to ensure their financial needs are met and uncover any additional needs.
- Meet or exceed established sales and service goals.
- Remain up to date on current products, services, and marketing campaigns through training and familiarization with changes and disclosures.
- Maintain compliance with all financial regulations, including BSA, OFAC, Reg CC, USA PATRIOT Act, and others applicable to the duties of the position.
- Maintain confidentiality of member information and other sensitive information.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
ExperienceMinimum 1-2 years or more of similar or related experience.
Physical Activities and Requirements- Finger dexterity: using primarily fingers for small movements such as typing or picking up small objects.
- Grasping: using fingers and palm on an object.
- Talking: frequently conveying detailed or important instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Repetitive motions: frequent movements using wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Average hearing: able to hear normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
- Average visual abilities: ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products.
- Sedentary work: frequently talk or hear, sit, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands or arms; occasionally stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally lift and move up to 20 pounds.

Typical – passive vocabulary of 7,000‑9,000 words; read at a fast pace; define unfamiliar words; write moderate to complex documents; communicate in complex sentences; read, analyze, and interpret technical and legal documents; respond to inquiries or complaints; write speeches and articles; present information to management, public groups, or boards of directors.
