• Responsible for professional JavaScript development.
• Understand asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
• Work through the entire stack from user interface through systems levels.
• Understand accessibility and security compliance.
• Consume web services (REST) and process data (JSON).

• Build API services using NodeJS Express and related frameworks.
• Apply understanding of NodeJS asynchronous runtime.
• Apply knowledge of JavaScript concepts related to callbacks and closures.
• Debug issues related to memory leaks.
• Build highly scalable and high-throughput services with sub-second response times.
• Collaborate within a team environment and work with key management stakeholders to define and drive technical strategy.
• Analyze issues across multiple vendors and interfaces and meet project objectives in a cost-effective manner.
• Respond to problems in a timely and effective manner.
• Stay abreast of advancements in eCommerce technologies to determine relevance and impact on the existing system.
• Utilize technical skills related to building NodeJS REST APIs, Camunda workflow, and SQL queries.

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or an IT related field. Higher degree will be accepted but not a minimum requirement.
• 7+ years of experience as an IT Development Lead or in a related role/capacity.

• Experience must include: 7 years in professional JavaScript development, in REST principles, and understanding asynchronous programming; experience across the full stack from UI to systems levels; accessibility and security compliance; REST services and JSON; SQL Server, Mongo

  SQL, and Redis; building API services with NodeJS Express and related frameworks;
