Software Engineers - Back-End - Java

The Software Engineer – Back-End (Java) will be responsible for designing and developing critical features and components of scalable, high-performance applications.

This role requires strong expertise in Java, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native environments.

The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop critical features and components for backend systems.
• Select appropriate tools and frameworks for development tasks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to build and evolve platform and application capabilities.
• Implement automated testing suites for functional and performance testing.
• Champion platform and application quality, performance, and integrity.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach to development and support.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of software development and design experience.
• Proven experience in service delivery in cloud and distributed systems at scale.
• Strong experience in Java, Spring Framework, microservices, and RESTful services.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL (MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Code Build).
• Experience with real-time systems and pub-sub architectures (Kafka, SNS-SQS, Rabbit
  
  MQ).
• Familiarity with observability tools (Data Dog, New Relic, Kibana, Rollbar, Segment, Pendo, Optimizely).
• Knowledge of modern web security features (OAuth, SSL, 2FA, CSP, HSTS, CORS).
• Experience working in agile environments with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote teams and technical leadership.
