We are seeking a highly experienced Java SDET Lead with 8+ years of experience in backend automation, API testing, and development
. This role requires strong hands‑on Java programming skills, automation expertise, and the ability to take ownership of testing for complex, large‑scale data systems. Candidates must be able to work onsite in Dallas, TX from day one.

• Take full ownership and accountability of assigned functionality, testing, and delivery.
• Perform backend API testing, automation scripting, and BDD/Cucumber framework execution.
• Work as an onsite QA lead with strong development background and testing ownership.
• Support a team focused on Data Ingestion, Data Pipelines, and Pubhub Messaging/Event Hub.

• Support cloud readiness, migrating applications/messaging platforms to cloud environments, and applying Twelve‑Factor App principles.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, Dev Ops, and other engineering teams.
• Enhance and expand automation frameworks to support multiple environments.
• Develop automated component tests and validate component-level behavior.
• Use Java development expertise to create advanced automated testing solutions.
• Maintain test engineering tools, frameworks, documentation, and automation pipelines.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to Test Automation Engineers across the enterprise.

• Strong hands‑on automation experience with Backend API (REST API), REST Assured, and backend automation tools.
• Experience with Java, .NET, Python, and web services automation testing.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Minimum 8 years of Java development/programming or enterprise automation/test engineering experience.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber.
• Proven background as a Java Developer or SDET with expertise in API and services‑layer automation.
• Ability to test code programmatically, debug issues, and optimize automation.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, data structures, and layered architecture.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven.
• Experience with JMeter or other performance testing tools.

• Java certification is strongly preferred.
• AWS Cloud knowledge or experience is highly desirable.
