Skill Storm is actively seeking full‑time Entry Level Software Developers for a Fortune 100 client. The ideal candidate has a strong technical mindset, exceptional problem‑solving skills, and logical reasoning abilities. This on‑site position is based in Gilbert, AZ or Washington, DC.

You will spend 12 weeks collaborating in team‑based settings on real‑world projects. After training, you will be deployed to enterprise or government clients ready to have an immediate impact on day one.

Entry Level Software Developer Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 9 months+ of technical experience
  • Relocatable to Gilbert, AZ or Washington, DC; in‑office required
  • Ability to earn a government security clearance
  • Strong understanding of programming principles, data structures, algorithms, databases, and SQL
  • Experience with Java, C#, or similar object‑oriented language
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. under Skill Storm’s W2; not a C2C position
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • EOE, including disability/vets
Entry Level Software Developer Responsibilities
  • Develop new applications and modify existing applications using languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools used by our clients.
  • Write well‑structured, readable, and efficient code and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
  • Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs in software applications and provide technical support related to software issues.
  • Engage in code review sessions with peers to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
  • Assist in the deployment and testing of applications to production environments.
  • Work closely with other departments (quality assurance, project management, product management) to deliver projects on time and meet objectives.
