Reporting the Director of Software Quality Assurance, the Software Quality Assurance Engineer will join an agile development scrum team involved in building population health management tools. The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible to the team for ensuring the quality of the software solutions through hands‑on testing, developing and executing test plans, test scripts, attending backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release readiness.
Duties to include:
- Work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum team environment
- Ensure all code released to production meets or exceeds pre-defined quality standards
- Ensure all scrum teams are following all pre-defined quality engineering processes and practices
- Participate in all aspects of testing, including, exploratory, functional, regression, and system testing
- Work closely and collaboratively with automation team to maintain and expand test coverage
- Work closely and collaboratively with engineers to quickly find and resolve defects
- Minimum two years in an iterative development environment using Agile methodologies, with experience of delivering working software to production through the entire lifecycle
- Ability to work in a self directed team, in which you determine your tasks on a daily basis in coordination with your scrum team
- Minimum two years testing ASP.Net, SQL, Mongo and Web services
- Minimum two years in accessing data from SQL Server or relevant database server
- Minimum two years in context-based, exploratory, or scenario based testing
- Minimum two years hands on experience working with Automation tools such as QTP, Smartbear, Coded UI, Silk
- Minimum two years hands‑on experience writing and maintaining automated tests using scripting languages such as Java, C#, Ruby, Python
- Team player with solid communications skills that excel in a collaborative environment
- Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to a changing and high growth environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 2 years agile/scrum methodologies
- 2 years testing in ASP.NET WebAPI (Or equivalent service oriented frameworks)
- 1 years hands‑on writing and maintaining automated tests using scripting languages such as Java, C#, Ruby, Python
