Quality Assurance Automation Engineer; Dallas

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled SDET to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation, API testing, and framework development, ensuring high-quality software delivery through robust testing strategies.

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web and API testing.
• Implement automated test scripts using Selenium Web Driver for UI testing.
• Perform API testing using Rest Assured and validate responses against business requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions).
• Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices in test automation.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Continuously improve automation processes and tools.

• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium Web Driver for UI automation.
• Expertise in API testing using Rest Assured or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of HTTP, JSON, XML, and web services.
• Experience with TestNG / JUnit frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, or Gradle.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber is a plus).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
