As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC’s C&IB organization, you will be based either in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX.
The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis.

Responsibilities- Software Engineer Lead - Technical Leadership:
Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team. - Architecture and Design:
Oversee the architecture and design of software solutions, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements. - Code Quality:
Ensure high-quality code through code reviews and adherence to best practices and coding standards. - Mentorship:
Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Contributes to the Solutions Go-to-Market, prioritizes development efforts, shapes solution direction, and drives new trends.
- Actively hands-on with Java 8+, Spring Boot with other Spring Frameworks, Mongo
DB and Microservice application developments. - Expertise in core Java, asynchronous and reactive programming.
- Writing disciplined well-typed, efficient, testable and maintainable code that gives other programmers take complete control over the development process.
- Managing ambiguity, working independently, and solving problems across different functional teams.
- Track record of delivering quality products.
- Passion for learning new technologies and developing skills. Level-up the coding practice on every opportunity.
- Knack for getting things done, whether it be independently or in a team.
- Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge in Docker and Open Shift
- Knowledge in build tools such as Gradle or Maven
- Knowledge in enterprise CI/CD
- Knowledge in Agile Practice
- Passion for exploring diverse fields such as Machine Learning, AI and microservice architecture
- Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
- Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
- Facilitates complex problem resolution.
- Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
- Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
