Defining and leading the engineering approach for complex features to deliver significant business outcomes is the core responsibility. The individual will deliver technology solutions, enable development efficiencies, provide technical thought leadership across multiple software implementations and maintain depth and breadth in several technical competencies.
Responsibilities- Ensure that design and engineering approaches for complex features align with the larger portfolio solution.
- Define the technology tool stack for the solution and evaluate new testing tools, frameworks and practices.
- Enable team(s)/applications with CI/CD capabilities and collaborate with stakeholders for efficient pipeline functioning.
- Guide and influence teams on design and best practices for high code performance (e.g., pair programming, code reviews).
- Provide end‑to‑end delivery of complex features, including automation, for single or multiple teams at the program level.
- Conduct research, design prototypes and other exploration activities to evaluate new toolsets for release management, CI/CD, and features.
- Work with stakeholders to establish high‑level solution needs and collaborate with architects for technical requirements.
- 10+ years of experience as an architect or development lead in a complex financial data environment.
- Extensive workflow automation experience with a solid understanding of banking operations.
- Strong experience in Pega workflow / case management solutions and large‑scale Pega application design and architecture.
- End‑to‑end solution architecture ownership for a portfolio of applications.
- Hands‑on expertise in large‑scale application architecture with reusable framework design.
- Experience designing and developing microservices and general patterns.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage day‑to‑day interactions with diverse colleagues and build trust quickly.
- Effective resource allocation and budget tracking.
- Inspire teams to achieve goals through innovation, quality and excellence.
- Contribute to process efficiencies and Agile enablement.
