Job Description:

The AI Platform & Tooling Engineer develops, evaluates and optimises the platforms, tools and technical foundations required to accelerate AI delivery. The role enables rapid experimentation while ensuring scalability, security, resilience and cost-effective adoption of AI technologies.

• Design and implement AI development and experimentation environments.
• Evaluate emerging AI tooling, frameworks and technology platforms.
• Build integration services, APIs and orchestration capabilities.
• Support deployment, monitoring and operational readiness activities.
• Assess tooling costs, licensing impacts and infrastructure requirements.
• Develop reusable accelerators, technical assets and reference implementations.
• Implement security controls, monitoring and operational guardrails.
• Support continuous improvement and optimisation of AI platforms.
• Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams.

• Software engineering and cloud infrastructure expertise.
• Experience with AI platforms AWS Bedrock and Microsoft Foundry, APIs and orchestration frameworks.
• Knowledge of Azure AI services and cloud-native architectures.
• Dev Ops, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Cost optimisation and cloud consumption management.
• Security, monitoring and operational support principles.
• Integration and automation technologies.
