Senior Fullstack Developer; MERN Stack

Dallas, TX - Hybrid (3 days in office)

At Strategio, we are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with strong hands-on experience in the MERN stack to support the development and modernization of enterprise applications across financial services and energy.

You will work across the full software development lifecycle, designing, building, integrating, and deploying scalable applications. Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, you will help deliver reliable, high-quality solutions that solve complex business challenges and support enterprise transformation.

• You are an experienced Fullstack Developer with strong hands-on expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js (MERN stack).
• You have a solid understanding of JavaScript, modern frontend development, backend services, and API integration.
• You have experience working with Oracle or comparable relational databases, including SQL queries and performance optimization.
• You are comfortable working in Agile environments, collaborating with engineering teams, and contributing throughout the software development lifecycle.
• You are a proactive problem-solver who can troubleshoot complex technical challenges and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
• You communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and take ownership of your deliverables.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable enterprise web applications using the MERN stack.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services to enable seamless communication across applications and systems.
• Develop responsive frontend applications using React.js and JavaScript while building robust backend services with Node.js and Express.js.
• Work with MongoDB, Oracle, and relational databases to support application functionality, data integration, and query optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot integration challenges, optimize application performance, and improve system reliability.
• Develop and maintain automated tests, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation and communicate development progress, challenges, and solutions to relevant stakeholders.

• Frontend:
  React.js, JavaScript, modern web application development.
• Backend:
  Node.js, Express.js, server-side application development.
• Databases:
  MongoDB, Oracle or comparable relational databases, SQL, query optimization.
• API Development: RESTful APIs, GraphQL, system integration.
• Software Engineering:
  Fullstack development, automated testing, debugging, performance optimization, clean code principles.
• Methodologies:
  Agile/Scrum, collaborative software development.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of modern application architectures, including microservices.
• Exposure to Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Experience optimizing application performance and scalability.
• Previous experience delivering technology solutions within financial services or energy.
• Experience contributing to technical design discussions and architecture decisions.
