Senior Middleware​/Integration Engineer

Lead the design, development, modernization, and support of enterprise middleware and API integration services supporting the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This position will provide technical leadership for enterprise integration solutions utilizing Java-based technologies, IBM web Methods, and cloud-native architectures.

10+ years of software engineering experience

Java

Spring Boot

REST and SOAP web services

IBM web Methods

Open Shift or Kubernetes

Application modernization

Production support and troubleshooting

IRS experience

API Gateway experience

Containerized applications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
