- Practical understanding of mesh generation, mesh quality, surface/solid meshing, defeaturing, cleanup, and CAE preprocessing workflows.
- Experience with CAD/CAE products such as MSC Apex, Patran, ANSA, CATIA, Solid Works, NX, or similar tools.
- Awareness of customer workflows in simulation, preprocessing, model preparation, and downstream solver integration.
- Ability to guide architecture and technical decisions for geometry and meshing components.
- Strong hands‑on background in C++, preferably with experience in large‑scale engineering or scientific software.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation using Python.
- Experience reviewing designs, identifying technical risks, and driving feasibility analysis.
- Ability to balance innovation, product quality, performance, maintainability, and release commitments.
- Practical experience using AI‑assisted software development tools such as Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools to improve coding productivity, code review efficiency, documentation, and engineering workflows.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor engineers, set expectations, provide feedback, and build a high-performing delivery-focused team.
- Excellent communication skills for working with engineering teams, product stakeholders, QA, program management, and senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make practical decisions under technical and schedule constraints.
- Ability to drive accountability, remove execution blockers, and maintain focus on predictable, high-quality delivery.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence across teams and build alignment around technical priorities and delivery commitments.
