The Group Fitness Instructor is a member of the Cowboys Fit team and plays a key role in the company’s overall success. The Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) will prepare and lead a fun, safe and effective group class based on the class description, offering modifications for less experienced or more experienced clients as needed. The instructor will represent the club in a positive manner, greeting the clients as they enter and leave class.

This is a part-time position. Your daily schedule will vary throughout the week depending on the needs of the club, the staff, and the members.

• Prepare and lead a fun, safe and effective class for all levels of participation based on class description.
• Ensure classes start and finish on time per the monthly schedule.
• Maintain an orderly studio, secure equipment, and manage class logistics.
• Keep an electronic record of classes taught or subbed, including attendance numbers; coordinate substitutes as needed and notify the Group Fitness Director of substitutions.
• Deliver positive written or verbal communication and uphold Cowboys Fit brand standards.
• Greet clients, represent the club positively, and maintain a professional appearance.
• Arrive 5 minutes early to prepare the room and greet clients.

• A passion for health and wellness and the ability to influence people in exercising, joining a fitness club, and making lifestyle changes.
• Enjoy networking and building relationships; comfortable on the phone and in community outreach.
• Commitment to top-notch customer service and some experience in fast-paced customer service.
• Computer-savvy; proficient in Word & Excel.
• Team player with a creative, positive approach to challenges.
• Experience in a sales environment focused on revenue and unit goals is a plus.
