Location: Dallas Love Field (DAL).
Shift: Sunday - Wednesday 6:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 18 years old
  • Basic computer skills/knowledge
  • Ability to lift 30–40 lbs with ease
  • Warehousing / inventory skills
  • Organizational skills
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry into the computer inventory systems, including locating, issuing, receiving, and shipping of materials.
  • Perform inventory audits, inspections, and reconciliations of materials based on direction from leadership.
  • Monitor and update stock items, minimum and maximum stock levels, and coordinate stock level adjustments with Aircraft Maintenance, Purchasing, and/or other departments within the company.
  • Ensure proper documentation is received by the aircraft maintenance department when returning unserviceable parts removed from aircraft.
  • Effectively communicate with suppliers when unserviceable parts need to be returned as part of the purchase order agreement.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and company policies, procedures, and risk controls.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Pass and maintain a rating to be able to drive forklifts.
  • Work flexible shifts and/or variable hours, including holiday and weekends.
  • Successfully complete the Materials and General Maintenance Manual (GMM) training courses.
  • Complete Hazmat Awareness course and pass an International Air Transport Association (IATA) test.
Principal

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Spread the Flexjet culture to others while displaying the company’s fundamental principles daily.
  • Enhance efficiencies in all areas of development while performing quality parts room functions.
  • Assist, train and mentor other employees in proper techniques and procedures.
  • Support and promote Safety Management Systems (SMS), keeping safety as a core value.
  • Operate all parts room functions in accordance with applicable technical data and FAA regulations.
  • Understand the functions of the Parts Department and the roles and responsibilities of a Parts Specialist.
Knowledge / Skills
  • Basic knowledge of all shipping/receiving functions and responsibilities.
  • Computer and other office equipment and inventory control system proficiency.
  • Experience with small and large weighing scales.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee is rarely exposed to extreme weather conditions.

Physical Demands
  • Stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Frequently lift and move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
