Passenger transportation licensing depends on the jurisdiction and vehicle type. Chicago, for example, requires a City of Chicago Public Chauffeur License for public passenger vehicle operation, and that license lasts two years with a $40 fee under the city's published rules.

Texas requirements for a chauffeur position can differ from Chicago's public chauffeur system. The Chicago chauffeur license rules provide a concrete example of local regulation, not a Dallas qualification for this role.

Luxury transportation work depends on a consistent passenger experience from pickup through drop-off. Courteous communication, careful vehicle operation, and an orderly appearance support the customer-service side of the role.

Driver qualification rules can include licensing, screening, medical review, and training requirements, with the exact standard set by the local authority or employer. The chauffeur licensing guidance describes those requirements as jurisdiction-specific and directs applicants to official authorities for current rules.

Prime Limo's Dallas position leaves the employment schedule and formal qualification list for the hiring process. The public role identifies driving and customer service as the work's central duties.
