Field Operations Supervisor – The Expo Group
We’re looking for a hands‑on leader to manage field operations for trade shows and events throughout the U.S. This on‑site role in Irving, Texas includes supervising temporary labor teams, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless production both on‑site and in our warehouse or office environments. Extensive travel across the country is required.
Required experience includes 2+ years in logistics or trade‑show environments and a high school diploma (associate degree preferred). Forklift certification and strong leadership skills are essential.
In This Role- Supervise, train, and guide temporary staff to meet project goals.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee daily, short‑term, and long‑term field operations.
- Collaborate with union representatives, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Evaluate labor, equipment, and materials needed for efficient project completion.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and reporting.
- Support warehouse or office functions when not on‑site.
- Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and standards.
- Communicate progress, delays, and any issues promptly to managers and clients.
- Educational foundation:
High school diploma required; associate degree preferred. - Experience:
Minimum 2 years in logistics or trade‑shows, especially in warehouse or show‑site environments. - Certifications:
Forklift certification (obtainable after hire). - Key
