Warehouse General Labor - Order Picker-Cold Storage Warehouse; Dallas, TX

Overview

The primary function of the Warehouse Employee is to maximize the selection and loading of products by ensuring accurate orders, meeting set target rates per hour, and ensuring product integrity and quality standards are maintained throughout the loading process.

• Accurate receiving, storing, picking, and loading of products.
• Unloading inbound products safely, accurately, and efficiently moving products to proper storage locations.
• Efficiently stacking and storing the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets or shelves or relocating orders to a holding area.
• Maintaining the integrity of products through proper handling and storage.
• Ensuring safe operation of a forklift and pallet jack.
• Responsible for general housekeeping to ensure warehouse standards are met in a safe and professional manner. This may include sweeping, consolidation of product, facility maintenance, organizing product, and other tasks as necessary.
• Performing other related functions as assigned.
• Able to work in a cold freezer below
  -20 degrees. Working in this condition is constant.

• Gloves
• Freezer suit
• Boots (not shoes)
• Hearing and eye protection as required.

• Stand/Walk:
  Constantly (90%), in below
  -20 degrees while performing duties, on concrete surfaces.
• Occasionally (10%), in + 80 degrees while operating outside work as needed.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; 2 or more years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
