Material Handler at Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co., Inc.
Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co. is a world leader in the manufacture of fire sprinklers and related system valves and a major distributor of a full line of fire sprinkler system components to the fire sprinkler industry since 1920.
The Dallas Warehouse is looking for a Material Handler to store, ship, receive, and replenish finished goods to fire sprinkler contractors by parcel, LTL, truckload, and/or private carrier.

Distribution Center Operations
Compensation: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
Responsibilities- Responsible for all tasks associated with the shipping and receiving functions at a distribution center
- Scan barcodes with a handheld scanner to deliver materials to the target location within the warehouse
- Operate a forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker and other loading/stacking equipment
- Complete and maintain daily forklift inspection reports
- Assist Will‑Call customers in a courteous and helpful manner
- Report any deficiencies in inventory, equipment, safety issues, or concerns to the Warehouse or Operations Supervisor
- Report backorders to the Customer Service Department
- Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks safely and thoughtfully, complying with all rules, procedures and use of appropriate personal protective equipment; maintain vigilance for hazardous conditions and report them immediately to a supervisor
- Perform other duties as directed
- High School Diploma
- 6+ months of warehouse experience
- Experience working in a non‑climate‑controlled warehouse environment
- Experience working at heights of 50 feet or more
- Proficiency in operating lift trucks, side loaders, pickers, pallet trucks, and other loading/stacking equipment
- Reliability, punctuality, and a regular attendance record
- Wears appropriate safety clothing (safety harness, glasses, belts, etc.) and steel‑toe shoes when required
- Ability to stand for 80% of the time
- Ability to lift large materials not exceeding 70 pounds
