Receiving Clerk Key Responsibilities Receiving and Inspecting Deliveries

Receive incoming shipments of goods, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.

• Inspect deliveries for damages and discrepancies, promptly reporting any issues to the appropriate department.
• Verify received items against purchase orders and packing slips, resolving discrepancies as needed.

Properly store goods in designated warehouse locations, adhering to inventory management procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving dock and warehouse environment, including regular inventory counts and stock rotation.
• Implement efficient shelving and storage solutions to maximize space utilization.

Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary to avoid stockouts and ensure timely availability of goods.

• Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records, investigating any discrepancies.
• Ensure storerooms are secured when unattended. Follow current property SOP for entry into product storerooms.

• Proven experience in a warehouse or inventory management role, preferably in a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
