An acute-care-attached cancer center in Dalton, Georgia, is seeking a Locum Tenens Hematology/Oncology physician for an ongoing assignment beginning in January. The clinician will deliver daytime outpatient care with a primary focus on the infusion center, managing adult patients with general hematologic and oncologic conditions. The position offers a predictable Monday through Friday schedule with no call requirements and comprehensive on-site clinical support.

Responsibilities
- Provide on-site outpatient hematology and oncology coverage
- Focus primarily on the infusion center
- Evaluate and manage hematologic and oncologic conditions
- Manage 5-7 patients per day
- Provide inpatient consultations only when the attending physician is unavailable, as designated
- Maintain all clinical documentation through the EPIC EMR system
Shift & Schedule
- Dates needed:
January - Ongoing - Day Shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No call required
