Job Summary

The Scholastics Graduate Assistant reports to the Director of Community Initiatives and Student Success. The graduate assistant position supports initiatives related to scholastics of the School of Nursing.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with peer mentoring program.
  • Assist with tutorial services provided within the School of Nursing.
  • Research related to scholastics to include retention, graduation rates, and accreditation data for the BSN, RN‑BSN, and MSN programs (FNP, Educator, Leadership, and Informatics).
  • Other duties as assigned to support scholastics.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to perform data collection and analysis.
Required Qualifications
  • Admitted to a graduate level program for a minimum of six credit hours.
  • Be in good academic standing.
  • Preferred qualification of admission to a graduate nursing program.
Proposed Salary

The salary is commensurate with education and experience. This position can work up to 19 hours per week.
