The Scholastics Graduate Assistant reports to the Director of Community Initiatives and Student Success. The graduate assistant position supports initiatives related to scholastics of the School of Nursing.
Responsibilities- Assist with peer mentoring program.
- Assist with tutorial services provided within the School of Nursing.
- Research related to scholastics to include retention, graduation rates, and accreditation data for the BSN, RN‑BSN, and MSN programs (FNP, Educator, Leadership, and Informatics).
- Other duties as assigned to support scholastics.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.
- Ability to perform data collection and analysis.
- Admitted to a graduate level program for a minimum of six credit hours.
- Be in good academic standing.
- Preferred qualification of admission to a graduate nursing program.
The salary is commensurate with education and experience. This position can work up to 19 hours per week.
