Low-voltage Switchboard Startup Technician (L1-L5 Commissioning)

Candidate should be familiar with the commissioning, start up, testing and maintenance of mission critical / critical infrastructure equipment: switchboards, switch gear, electrical equipment associated with mission critical environments, generators, automatic transfer switches, uninterruptable power supply (UPS), computer room air conditioners (CRACs), DC plants, power distribution units (PDU), battery cabinets, and other critical equipment.

• Perform equipment commissioning, startup, testing and maintenance for UPSs, ATSs, battery cabinets, PDUs, generators, and switchboards.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on generators, ATSs, UPSs, CRACs, DC plants, and other critical equipment.
• Test and maintain UPSs, ATSs, battery cabinets, PDUs, generators, and other electrical gear.
• Conduct onsite Integrated Systems Testing (IST) for equipment.
• Coordinate equipment delivery and onsite activities with strong organizational skills.
• Perform on-site IST for electrical gear and review electrical plans to create solutions for potential risks.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Engage in physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and traveling as needed.
• Possess a valid driver s license and ability to travel as required.
• Pass a criminal background, DMV, and credit check as part of the hiring process.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with 3+ years of relevant Integrated Systems Testing (IST) experience.
• Solid experience in project management and related testing procedures.
• Ability to review electrical plans and create solutions for potential risks.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with various departments.
• Capable of lifting materials up to 50 pounds and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Must possess a valid driver s license and have the ability to travel as needed.
• Able to pass a criminal background, DMV, and credit check.
• Purchase order management, vendor management.
