We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Assistant Controller to join our finance team and contribute to the continued success of our organization.

The Assistant Controller will play a key role in managing the company’s accounting functions and supporting financial operations across multiple locations. This position requires a qualified accountant with strong technical skills, a hands‑on approach, and the ability to work collaboratively with warehouse and finance teams. The role demands strict adherence to deadlines and the ability to perform under pressure. In addition, the Assistant Controller will participate in financial analysis, cost accounting, cash flow monitoring, and support continuous improvement and manufacturing‑related accounting as relevant.

• Assist the Controller with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and internal reports.
• Conduct financial and variance analysis to support decision‑making.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including A/P, A/R, and payroll.
• Monitor daily cash flow and assist with weekly payment prioritization.
• Process monthly commissions and prepare sales tax returns.
• Support intercompany reconciliations and reporting.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control standards.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.

• Manage and conduct periodic inventory counts across warehouse locations.
• Travel as required for inventory verification and operational support.
• Provide support to the accounting staff.

• Utilize Microsoft Business Central and Microsoft Office tools.
• Participate in cost accounting activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with special projects and financial process enhancements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; (ACA / CPA preferred).
• 5+ years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Business Central and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Willingness to travel for inventory counts.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines.
