Sodexo has an outstanding opportunity for a Clinical Nutrition Manager (Registered Dietitian) to manage the Clinical Nutrition program at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, GA. Hamilton Medical Center is an exceptional community hospital with 190 beds including two ICU units, and NICU. Excellent opportunity for an ambitious RD to step into a management role!
This position may be eligible for a sign‑on bonus.
What You'll Do- Manage nutrition care services for an acute care facility; average census 115‑145 and serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team along with other Sodexo managers.
- Manage a staff of 2‑4 Registered Dietitians and the diet office staff (25%) and represent the department on hospital‑wide medical staff committees. 75% clinical management including clinical floor units.
- Have strong management in acute care nutrition services, along with a strong comprehension of the principles of clinical nutrition practice.
- Have demonstrated skills in managing and developing clinical staff; monitoring and evaluation of nutrition care services; development of policy and procedures in a complex organization; accreditation and regulatory readiness and review; and establishing and maintaining standards of care.
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills, a track record of proactive interaction with the medical team, be a great team player, and have strong demonstrated leadership skills.
- Experience with Room Service Dining Programs and Electronic Health Records will be desirable.
- Every 5th weekend rotation with 1‑day remote.

- Familiarity with EPIC medical records is also a plus.
- Minimum education:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). - For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the ACEND. - Credentials:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. - Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
- Minimum management experience:
At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited time frames. - Minimum functional experience: 3 years as experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners.
