The OQC Technician maintains high quality standards by reviewing outgoing assembly products before delivering to our customer. The OQC operator works as an in-line quality inspector to ensure top tier products by verifying all quality aspects of the module.

Responsibilities

• Confirms product compliance to established quality standards by conducting visual tests.
• Rejects products that fail to meet established quality standards.
• Ensures line maintains productivity levels needed to meet production demands.
• Documents inspection results for final product grading.
• Reports any issues requiring a Quality Technician to the line supervisor.
• Produces products that meet quality standards with minimal defects.
• Monitors standard equipment settings and escalates deviations for adjustment.
• Helps other operators during break times and offers flexibility to cover other work areas.
• Follows standardized work and does not deviate from SOP and work instructions.
• Adheres to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS.
• Performs other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing process.
• Team player who can cope with pressure.
• Ability to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed.
• Detail oriented and able to analyze information on a computer monitor for 12 hours.

Physical Conditions

• Able to lift 50 pounds without restriction.
• Able to stand and be on feet for up to 12 hours.
