About the PositionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee our 3rd shift manufacturing operations. The Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the production process, meeting production goals, and maintaining a high level of quality control. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a deep understanding of production processes.
Responsibilities- Supervise and direct the activities of the production team, ensuring that production targets are met on time and within budget.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet customer demands.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness within the production team.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Maintenance and Quality Assurance, to resolve production issues and improve processes.
- Train and mentor production team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and quality.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve production targets.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using production management software.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
