Host, Restaurant​/Food Service, Server​/Wait Staff

IHOP is looking for a friendly and energetic Host to join our team at our Dalton location. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that each guest has an exceptional dining experience. Starting pay $10 - $11 DOE.

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Accurately manage the seating chart and assign tables to guests based on their party size and wait times.
• Provide menus and inform guests about specials or promotions.
• Answer phone calls, complete to-go orders, and assist with any inquiries or requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including waiting areas and host stand.
• Collaborate with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Manage guest waitlist efficiently during busy periods, ensuring a positive experience.
• Handle guest feedback and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Assist with light cleaning and stocking as needed, including resetting tables by cleaning chairs, booths, and floors.

• Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
