Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Routes in Dalton, GA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industry, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing excellent customer service and clear communication.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the interior of buildings and the perimeter of the property.
- Observe for unusual activity and report any security‑related concerns according to established protocols.
- Assist in controlling access to the location by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
- Work collaboratively with site personnel to help deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
- Follow all company and client protocols to support a secure and orderly environment within the manufacturing and industrial setting.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
- A valid guard card or license is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
