Responsibilities
  • Must be able to work independently as necessary
  • This position may involve travel to Mountville branch locations.
  • Install, troubleshoot and repair facilities and equipment (including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic systems) such as mills, industrial carpet printers, HVAC, roofs, chillers, boilers, pumps, motors, etc.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment
  • Follow all safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out procedures when necessary
  • Devise, fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for industrial machinery or equipment and measuring instruments
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • Use electric meters, a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Initiate corrective and preventative action within the scope of your responsibility
  • Be a catalyst of positive change to improve mean time between failures (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR).
  • Use CMMS system to track and gather information on maintenance activities.
  • Keep work area and tools clean and orderly
  • Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
  • Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
Job Requirements
  • Ability to travel to other branch locations, sometimes on short notice
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Two (2) years of industrial maintenance experience is required, five (5) or more years of experience preferred
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience in a technical field
  • Mechanical ability to complete tasks such as replacing motors, repairing plumbing issues, etc.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Capable of working flexible hours, overtime when necessary
  • Knowledge of 5S or Lean manufacturing principles a plus
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic Windows and Microsoft Office knowledge desired
  • Experience with CMMS software
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
