General Maintenance Technician - Daly City, CA

Join The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company as a General Maintenance Technician in Daly City. Depending on location, stores may be open 7 days a week, including weekends and some holidays. Shift schedules will be discussed during the interview process.

• Perform line technician services, including routine inspections and maintenance.
• Diagnose system issues, troubleshoot, and conduct brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installations.
• Deliver excellent guest service, providing clear communication and feedback on vehicle status.
• Mentor junior automotive technicians and document all work on repair orders.
• Report safety issues immediately to management and maintain strict adherence to company policies on vehicle care and operation.
• Complete a variety of manual tasks—light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, squatting—for extended periods.

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience, including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Commitment to learning new automotive technologies and following safety policies.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• ASE Certification.
• Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests.
• Experience with electrical systems, air conditioning, and primary/advanced fuel ignition.
