Pastor – Hollyview Church

The Role

Hollyview Church is prayerfully seeking a relational, mission-minded, Spirit-led pastor to serve our church family in discipleship, teaching, and shared leadership. As the primary teaching elder of the church, we desire that our pastor would preach an average of three times a month, sharing the pulpit with others because we believe that the congregation benefits greatly from hearing from multiple voices.

Our pastor will join with elders, deacons, ministry leaders, and staff to discern the needs of the church and support the spiritual health of the body. Essential to this role is a humble posture that is focused on pastoral care, collaboration, and a heart for discipling others.

We’re looking for an elder-qualified pastor (according to 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:7–9) who has ministry experience, theological grounding (MDiv or equivalent is preferred), and a love for the church as family. Candidates should embrace the North American Baptist Statement of Beliefs.

This position has an annual salary/housing allowance range of $70,, depending on experience and education. Benefits beyond salary include a monthly health insurance reimbursement, employer contributed 403b retirement fund, and four weeks vacation. Additionally, the church will pay for continued education, annual conference attendance, and a pastoral ministry budget allowance that covers meals, fuel, etc. A stipend is available to assist with relocation expenses.
