Overview

The Accountant is responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the company's overall financial operations. In a sales-driven company, the role places particular focus on accounts receivable, invoicing and collections.

Responsibilities
  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, and follow up on collections and outstanding receivables.
  • Reconcile sale s transactions, customer accounts, and bank statements.
  • Manage accounts payable, including supplier invoices and payments.
  • Process and verify expense claims, petty cash, and employee reimbursements.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support VAT calculation, filing, and compliance with ZATCA requirements.
  • Assist with audits by providing required documents and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience (experience in a sales or trading company preferred).
  • Knowledge of VAT and ZATCA regulations in Saudi Arabia.
  • Professional certification (e.g., SOCPA, CMA, or part-qualified) is an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting softwares (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Quick Books, or Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication in English and Arabic.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and handle confidential information.
