What you will enjoy doing
NEXT implementation & Operational Excellence approach
- Execute, design and evaluate NEXT journey on local level / Be sparring partner for / report to OPEX.
- Execute and monitor HSE related activities.
- Coordinate definition of local OPEX strategy.
- Execute (and coordinate) improvement projects and KAIZEN workshops with support of regional OPEX (where needed).
- Support/provide general OPEX trainings on local level for employees
- Support process owners in the implementation of new tools or the execution of improvement projects; ensure that official tools/reports/systems are used correctly (APM”, CTO. CAQ, Alpla
PROD). - Verify new tools & methods, implement and sustain them on local level.
- Set up local recognition in alignment with regional framework.
- Create/review/implement Good Practices.
- Create documentation and blogs about NEXT experience/results.
- Participate in KAIZEN workshops in other plants of the region.
- Adjust and execute NEXT communication campaign.
- Regular communication to all involved NEXT parties & create documentation and blogs about NEXT experience/results.
- Moderate execution of OPEX assessment.
- Any tasks as per instructions from Supervisor or Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an international manufacturing company, preferably in plastic packaging as well as technical background
Personal Competencies
- Has proven experience in continuous improvement projects.
- Possesses a Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Has a background in project management.
- Process management skills and very good analytical and methodical competences
- Entrepreneurial thinking, project-oriented working and passion for continuous improvement
- Analytical skills and ability to work independently, to tight deadlines and proactive in solving problems
- Training and facilitation skills
- System skills (APM2,CTO, CAQ)
- Basics of behavioral economics
- Advanced MS Office skill
- Great communication skills
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability and willingness to learn new programs/functions quickly
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent command of written and spoken Arabic & English (Good communication skills) & interpersonal competence
