Resident Engineer

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with client representatives to discuss project progress and address concerns.
• Propose and implement project management procedures to meet contract and client expectations.
• Establish and maintain specific procedures for design and construction supervision management.
• Prepare special reports for the Project Director Manager.
• Investigate and recommend solutions to service‑related issues.
• Identify priorities, tasks, and organizational structure, providing clear direction to achieve project goals.
• Define roles and responsibilities for the project management staff.
• Attend executive and progress meetings representing the project management team.
• Monitor performance to ensure successful delivery of key performance indicators and client requirements.
• Advise the Project Manager on potential variations in scope of work and their potential impact.
• Assist the Project Director in assessing variations and claims, presenting technical assessments to the client.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 15years of experience in a Construction Management role.
• PMP, CIOB, RICS, or similar certification is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering projects in dynamic and challenging environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies and procedures.
• Willingness to adapt and learn new skills as required.
