Principal Electrical Engineer

A leading international data centre developer is looking to appoint a Project Controls Lead to support the delivery of a rapidly expanding portfolio of mission-critical projects across the GCC.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business experiencing significant growth, working on large-scale hyperscale and critical infrastructure developments where you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on programme.

Reporting to the VP of Project Development, you will establish and maintain project controls across multiple live developments, providing clear visibility of programme performance, project risks, milestones and reporting.

You will work closely with Development, Design, Procurement, Commercial and Construction teams to ensure programmes remain realistic, achievable and aligned with project objectives.

• Developing and maintaining integrated project programmes from design through to commissioning.
• Reviewing contractor and consultant schedules, identifying critical path risks and opportunities.
• Managing programme risks, issues, change control and mitigation plans.
• Producing clear reporting for senior leadership and project stakeholders.
• Supporting procurement planning, commercial reporting and project governance.
• Helping develop project controls processes, templates and reporting standards across the organisation.

We're keen to speak with Project Controls professionals who have experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or mission-critical projects.

• 5-8 years' experience in Project Controls, Planning or Project Management.
• Experience on data centres, critical infrastructure, power, airports, hospitals, industrial or other major complex developments.
• Strong understanding of planning, scheduling, risk management, critical path analysis and project reporting.
• Experience using Primavera P6, MS Project and Excel (advanced P6 expertise is beneficial but not essential).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to challenge programmes constructively while working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Middle East experience is advantageous but not essential.
