MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Science/Arts with professional qualification in HSE: NEBOSHIGC is mandatory, IOSH. OSHA. Approved safety practitioner by a local authority.

Minimum 5 yrs. Exp and if in food manufacturing will be an advantage.

Languages

English & Hindi:
Business proficiency.

Specific Knowledge and Skills

Professional Skills

Experience in Maintenance in Food / FMCG Industry.
Hands-on experience in Troubleshooting of electrical issues and Maintenance of Electrical Panels, controllers, Drives, Motors, Low voltage, andhigh voltage installation.
Experience in Developing and Implementing Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Plans.
Conduct Root cause investigation and PDCA for major issues.
Knowledge of Food technology & Food safety.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of SAP – PM module.

RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Ensure implantation of bestsafety practices.

Ensure that all personnelhas received appropriate safety and health training as stipulated in HSE.

Assist in incident reporting, investigation. Analysis and risk assessment as stipulated in theOSHA System framework.

Participate in Safety Department Review at least once every quarter to review the achievements of the Safety and Health Objectives and improvements to the HSE manual.

Maintain a system of incident reporting, investigation. Analysis and risk assessment as stipulatedin the Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) system framework.

Assist in Conduct Safety Department Review at least once every quarter to review the achievements of the Safety and Health Objectives and improvements to the HSE manual.

Update the Safety and Healthdocuments and follow-up on recommendations of safety committees and workgroup.

Maintain relevant safetyrecords, records, and certificates required under the OSHA framework or Localframe.

Brief and instructsub-contractors on the safety and health procedures and instructions that theyand their employees are required to comply with.

Monitor and maintain safetyand health, prevent and fight fires, respond to accidents and controlenvironmental pollution.

Assist to Define and Specify all PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) to be used at the factory-likeclothing, Helmets, Goggles, Shoes, Gloves, Garments, etc; designed to protect the wearer's body from injury from accidents bearing in mind the Hygiene of the employee and the work atmosphere.

Assist to recommend changesin the procedures, policies, and related occupational health and safety documents.
