Safety
  • Ensure effective leadership in HSE, leading by example and setting the direction for a successful health and safety program and creating a foundation for a positive safety culture.
  • Ensure effective management of HSE risks and impacts. Report all hazards, incidents and Near Misses in line with the Copeland HSE policy. Active involvement in the investigation of accidents, near misses, incidents and ill health where required.
Assembly Processes
  • Manage the assembly operation; ensure targets are achieved in terms of volumes and productivity.
  • Liaise with production planner and ensure sufficient resources are available to meet production targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance.
  • Monitor production equipment and ensure preventative maintenance.
Warehouse Management
  • Liaise with the logistics and planning functions to ensure that inbound and outbound movements are scheduled to meet the capacity of the internal and external warehouses.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through systematic cycle counts.
Product Development
  • In conjunction with the marketing and engineering functions, assess and evaluate the impact of new products in the assembly process.
  • Identify and qualify new technologies to enhance the assembly process.
Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in Copeland Business Systems initiatives as required.
  • Promote continuous improvement values throughout the organization.
  • Support other IMEA locations to standardize and optimize processes.
