Description
OpportunityTechnical Project Management requires specific technical knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for a technical process or project, including developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets.
How you'll make an impactLead the investigation of all Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) from Production and Site. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Enforce the implementation of corrective actions across the team.
Ensure that the engineering team adheres strictly to the "Four-Eye Principle" (Maker/Checker) and that all document transfers between disciplines are formally recorded and verified.
Create and manage Power BI dashboards to visualize engineering KPIs, such as NCR trends, On-Time Delivery (OTD), resource utilization, and error frequency per discipline.
Analyze the data flow between engineering tools (E-3, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD) and SAP.
Identify manual entry points that cause errors and implement digital workflows to bridge these gaps.
Work with the IT and Engineering teams to maximize the efficiency of existing tools, creating macros or better templates to speed up the design process.
Regularly audit the engineering process itself-not just the drawings-to ensure teams are following the standard design instructions and using the correct templates.
Consolidate "Lessons Learnt" from site and production into updated Engineering Standards and Checklists.
Ensure these updates are effectively communicated and adopted by the team.
Identify recurring error patterns among team members and organize targeted technical training or process refreshers to close skill gaps.
Continuously monitor the skill matrix of the team members and schedule the training plan for the engineering team.
Implement and follow up the strategy deployment for the engineering team based on BU and OU strategy.
Regularly report on the KPIs and continuous improvement projects to the relevant stakeholders of the OUs.
Be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

8+ years of experience in an Engineering environment, preferably within GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) or Substation projects.
Proven track record of implementing process improvements or digital tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform solutions (for data/task automation) and Power BI (for data visualization).
Ability to look at an NCR, trace it back through the process, and find the exact point of failure in the workflow.
Ability to understand the "language" of Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil engineers and ensure they are talking to each other effectively.
