Koch Engineered Solutions (KES), through its John Zink brand, is seeking a proactive and technically capable Inside Sales Engineer – Aftermarket to expand our aftermarket capability and better serve customers across the Middle East region. This high-impact, customer-facing role will act as the primary hub between Middle East team, and our global sales, execution, and service functions. You will own customer inquiries and opportunities through the inquiry-to-project lifecycle, converting demand into high-quality proposals and ensuring exceptional delivery and customer satisfaction.

Location:

Dammam Office (Primary) supporting Middle East region (Primarily office-based with periodic customer visits as required)

Our Aftermarket Sales team focuses on responsive, value-driven support that extends the life and performance of John Zink equipment. We collaborate closely with customers in refining, petrochemical, utilities, municipal, and other industrial markets to deliver engineered solutions, spare parts, upgrades, and services that improve safety, uptime, and efficiency.

What You Will Do
  • Serve as the primary technical and commercial contact for aftermarket inquiries from the Middle East routed via the Dammam office.
  • Provide practical, timely technical support and clear recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare competitive, accurate proposals (parts, upgrades, services) and manage a seamless handover to Execution and Service teams.
  • Evaluate technical and commercial options balancing safety, compliance, cost, and schedule.
  • Apply local regulation and procurement knowledge to shape compliant, fit for purpose solutions.
  • Coordinate with regional resources, Outside Sales Engineers, and Execution/Service teams to ensure continuity and high quality outcomes.
  • Identify and engage decision makers and influencers to build long term customer relationships.
  • Proactively anticipate customer needs and propose differentiated aftermarket solutions that create value.
  • Capture and maintain opportunity data in Salesforce (SFDC); keep records complete and current.
  • Share market feedback and improvement ideas that grow the aftermarket business and increase productivity.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Strong technical aptitude combined with commercial and customer-facing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Well organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple opportunities and priorities concurrently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a matrix organization.
  • Strong adherence to safety and demonstrated safe work habits.
  • Comfortable working primarily in an office environment with readiness to travel for customer visits as required.
  • Exposure with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) or similar opportunity-tracking systems.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Engineering or equivalent technical background.
  • Exposure to aftermarket sales, service coordination, or direct end‑user interactions with industrial combustion, emissions control, or related equipment.
  • Familiarity with Middle East commercial practices, procurement processes, and relevant local legislation.
  • Understanding of preparing technical and commercial proposals and supporting project handovers to execution teams.
  • International exposure and ability to operate across cultures and organizational boundaries.
