QC Piping Inspector - API

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QC Piping Inspector to ensure the quality and compliance of piping installation, fabrication, and testing activities for industrial and oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, verifying compliance with project specifications, and ensuring adherence to applicable international codes and standards.

• Perform inspection of piping fabrication, erection, and installation activities.
• Verify piping materials, dimensions, alignment, and fit-up prior to welding.
• Conduct visual inspections and monitor welding activities as per approved procedures.
• Review isometric drawings, P&IDs, and construction specifications.
• Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, and leak testing of piping systems.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable codes.
• Monitor non‑destructive testing (NDT) activities and review reports.
• Identify non‑conformities and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with construction, welding, and client inspection teams.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout project execution.

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Valid API certification (API 570 preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a QC Piping Inspector in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, ANSI, API, and relevant international piping codes.
• Experience in piping fabrication, erection, and pressure testing.
• Familiarity with welding procedures, NDT methods, and inspection techniques.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
