Work Location: Dammam (Sites), Saudi Arabia
Key Accountabilities- Coordinate and follow up with subcontractors to ensure timely submission and consultant approval of all material submittals and method statements according to the submission schedule.
- Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for each activity in conjunction with method statements to ensure alignment with project requirements. Monitor subcontractors' adherence to ITPs and initiate inspections as needed.
- Perform daily on-site surveillance, identifying and documenting deficiencies, and communicate these findings to the team to prevent recurring issues.
- Collaborate with the site team, subcontractors, and consultants to oversee material inspections for compliance with project specifications.
- Work alongside the site team, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure inspections of the work are conducted to verify alignment with drawings and specifications and maintain accurate records of these inspections.
- Coordinate and, when necessary, conduct inspections of subcontractor factories or fabrication yards as directed by the QA QC manager, ensuring adherence to project requirements, and relay observations to the project team.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, third party laboratories, and consultants to facilitate various field tests and maintain comprehensive records of these tests.
- Possess a sound knowledge of Civil / MEP or Electrical works.
- Conduct internal verification and inspections to implement corrective and preventive actions for Non Conformance Reports (NCRs) and deficiencies identified by the QA QC team on site.
- Address QA QC issues, suggest corrective actions, and determine solutions during QA QC meetings and site walks with the Execution Team and subcontractors.
- Coordinate and conduct snagging and de snagging inspections with subcontractors, the site team, and consultants.
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering (or relevant field).
- 5-7 years of experience in QA/QC inspection within construction projects.
- Strong understanding of Civil / MEP works.
- Familiarity with industry standards and quality control methodologies.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in documenting and maintaining inspection records.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
