Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
Install, modify, and repair electrical wiring and equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in industrial machinery using diagnostic tools and techniques to minimize downtime.
Perform electrical testing and calibration on various equipment to ensure accurate operation and enhance reliability.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory to support efficient operations and compliance audits.
Assist in developing and updating maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment lifespan and efficiency.
Train and mentor junior technicians in electrical safety practices and troubleshooting techniques to foster a skilled workforce.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and enhance technical knowledge.
Participate in safety meetings and initiatives to promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to design and implement electrical systems for new projects or upgrades.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent technical certification in electrical engineering or industrial technology is required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of hands on experience in an industrial setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of electrical systems.
Experience in sectors such as manufacturing, energy, or automation is advantageous for understanding industry specific challenges.
Strong foundation in electrical theory and practical application, backed by real world experience.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus for multinational workplace environments.
Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical testing equipment.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with diverse teams and foster collaboration.
Physical stamina and dexterity are essential, as the role may involve heavy lifting and working in confined spaces.
