Responsibilities
- Design and analyze pipeline systems including stress analysis, wall thickness calculations, and material selection ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards such as ASME B4 B
- Develop detailed engineering specifications and drawings for pipelines, pumping stations, and associated equipment utilizing software like AutoCAD and Caesar II
- Oversee the construction and commissioning of pipelines, providing technical support to field teams and ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety regulations
- Conduct hydraulic modeling and simulations to optimize pipeline performance, including flow rate, pressure drop and pigging operations using software like Pipe Flow
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering principles.
- Demonstrates 8+ years of experience in oil and gas pipeline projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
