We are currently seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Dammam to support our operations and contribute to our continued success.
Job Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and oversee the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery used in petrochemical processes.
- Ensure the reliability and safety of electrical systems across the facility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Provide technical expertise for electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, switch gear, power distribution systems, and PLCs.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical engineering projects, ensuring alignment with company goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with other departments (mechanical, instrumentation, and production) for integrated project delivery.
- Ensure all electrical systems comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop preventive measures for electrical safety.
- Prepare technical reports, project updates, and maintenance schedules.
- Maintain detailed records of electrical inspections, repairs, and upgrades.
- Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, performance, and cost savings related to electrical systems.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the petrochemical, oil & gas, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, etc.) and hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, and power distribution systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, codes, and best practices (e.g., NEC, IEC standards).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Professional Engineering License (preferred but not mandatory).
