Marine Field Inspector

As a Marine Safety Inspector, you will conduct thorough on site inspections, assess vessel conditions, and investigate incidents to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

• Conduct thorough on site inspections of marine vessels and equipment to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Perform detailed assessments of vessel conditions, including hull integrity, machinery functionality, and navigational systems, generating comprehensive inspection reports.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of marine safety management systems and procedures, offering recommendations for improvement to enhance operational safety.
• Investigate marine incidents and accidents by collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing reports to determine root causes and contributing factors.

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
• Valid Marine Engineer's license or equivalent certification demonstrating competence in marine operations and systems.
• Certified as a Marine Surveyor or Inspector by a recognized maritime organization.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in ship operations, maintenance, or surveying, offering practical knowledge.
