Piping QC Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Piping QC Inspector to oversee and ensure compliance with quality standards in piping construction, installation, and testing activities. The role requires meticulous inspection, documentation, and coordination with project and QA/QC teams to maintain adherence to client specifications, international codes, and organizational procedures.

• Perform inspections of piping fabrication, erection, welding, and hydrotesting activities in line with approved ITPs, QCPs, and project specifications.
• Verify material certificates, welding consumables, and ensure compliance with applicable codes (ASME, API, ASTM, etc.).
• Conduct fit-up and dimensional inspections during fabrication and erection stages.
• Monitor welding processes, review WPS/PQR/WPQ compliance, and ensure proper storage/handling of consumables.
• Witness pressure tests, NDT activities, and coordinate with third-party inspection agencies when required.
• Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, and maintain all quality records in alignment with project requirements.
• Liaise with construction, engineering, and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance during all inspection activities.

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 05+ years’ experience in piping quality inspection within oil & gas, petrochemical, or EPC projects.
• Certification in CSWIP 3.1 / AWS-CWI (preferred).
• Knowledge of international codes & standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI).
• Strong understanding of welding processes, materials, and NDT methods.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.

• Aramco / ADNOC / KNPC / QP project approval (if applicable).
• Aramco Approval & CBT in Piping & Pipeline
• Ability to work under pressure in a multi-disciplinary project environment.
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
