Electrical Design Engineer

Lead the design of HV and MV substations including single line diagrams, control and protection schemes, grounding, lighting, and cable routing. Prepare detailed design packages, technical specifications, and datasheets for electrical equipment such as transformers, switch gear, circuit breakers, relays, and cables.

Perform electrical load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies using ETAP or similar software. Perform SCADA protection systems design and review design deliverables prepared by electrical engineers and draftsmen to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with standards.

Interface with other disciplines and ensure all electrical design requirements are properly coordinated. Provide technical support during tendering, procurement, and construction phases. Conduct vendor document reviews and ensure equipment compliance with client and project requirements.

Participate in design review meetings, HAZOPs, and technical clarifications with clients and third parties. Ensure all designs adhere to Saudi Aramco, SEC, IEC, and international standards.

Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.

• Strong expertise in substation and power system design.
• Experience working with Saudi Aramco, SEC, or major EPC clients.
• Excellent command of AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP software, SCADA, Protection system.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams efficiently.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
