As a Test Engineer, you will be conducting product testing during Pre-FAT and FAT schedule, confirming the functionality of the design and products in alignment to the customers approved designs.
- Review FAT procedures and discuss customer special test requirements with Project Engineer; create Customer FAT test plan.
- Identify tools required for testing and ensure sufficient testing capacity exists to achieve all customer commitments.
- Staging BN Systems on factory floor in preparation for testing and perform cabinet inspection against requirements set by Baker Hughes Procedure vs drawing.
- Power up cabinet and use BN Signal Simulators, MSS. Download rack configuration and test systems as per FAT procedure; simulate all required signals as requested by the PE.
- Inspect spare materials as per packing list and report shortages to planner & supply chain team promptly.
- Support customer during FAT activity on cabinet inspection and BOM verification as required by FAT procedure.
- Fill in FAT report and log test results on the FAT configuration sheet.
- Own defect tracker tool; create and verify punch log and communicate punch status to project team, following up until closed.
- Control Master IFC drawing during testing, ensuring all drawing mark‑ups are completed and communicated to Project Engineer & Manufacturing Engineer.
- Utilize CPS report; monitor and close pre‑FAT / FAT milestone activity completion in SAP.

- Ensure all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality‑focused, and compliant manner.
- Identify opportunities to drive process and operations excellence via standardization, simplification, and automation.
- Electrical or mechanical engineering degree.
- Five years of relevant experience in instrumentation and testing.
- Background with Bently Nevada equipment.
- Experience with vibration monitoring system testing (preferred).
- Ability to coordinate several projects concurrently.
- Firm understanding of FAT testing (Pre‑FAT, FAT).
- Experience using BN Signal Simulators and MSS.
- Knowledge of SAP and CPS (or equivalent) for milestone tracking.
