Overview
Lead and manage LEED certification processes from project initiation to final certification approval. Prepare review and submit LEED documentation through relevant certification platforms. Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors and consultants to achieve targeted LEED credits. Monitor project compliance with LEED requirements and sustainability objectives. Conduct LEED scorecard reviews, gap analyses, and sustainability assessments. Advise project teams on sustainable building design strategies and green building best practices.
Evaluate energy efficiency, water conservation, indoor environmental quality and sustainable materials. Review energy models and building performance simulations. Analyze energy consumption, carbon emissions and environmental impacts. Support renewable energy integration and decarbonization initiatives. Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and sustainability standards. Prepare sustainability reports, technical documentation and project KPI tracking reports. Conduct sustainability workshops, LEED coordination meetings and site inspections.
Liaise with certification bodies, clients and regulatory authorities. Provide technical guidance and mentor junior sustainability engineers and coordinators.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 7–10 years of experience in sustainability engineering, green building projects, and LEED certification management.
- Mandatory LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) certification. LEED AP BD+C certification preferred.
- Additional certifications such as WELL AP, ESTIDAMA PQP, or BREEAM Assessor will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of LEED rating systems, green building standards, and sustainability best practices.
- Experience in energy modeling and building performance analysis.
- Good understanding of HVAC systems, lighting systems, water conservation, and renewable energy technologies.
- Proficiency in Energy Plus, IES VE, eQUEST, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple sustainability initiatives simultaneously.
